A Message from HeartLight Communications

It's wonderful connecting with you as the world celebrates our lovely home, Mother Earth!

There are many activities around the world as we tend to what her needs are, appreciating her, and it's a very important time to realize that we need this same attention as well. We are a reflection of each other. Our feeling stressed out and exhausted is also what Mother Earth is experiencing.

In fact, many feel they have no time to make a difference in the world because, quite frankly, their inner and outer worlds are depleting them. Maybe this is you, too?  It's very important to also know that you are not alone.

First, accept and surrender to this awareness because then you allow positive change to flow. Otherwise, you can count on life remaining the same.

The global celebration of Earth Day is the perfect time to reflect on what you're grounding here in your life on Mother Earth, and if you or someone you know is having intense negative feelings about life, consider this as a pivot point in life; it's a "soul sign" that it's time for change!

(Sacrament Earth Day~Dana Gray)

Why is being "grounded" so important and what are some of the symptoms:

Often the soul will create events to trigger change, and we don't always heed the hints we receive, so sometimes we have extreme situations that play out. It's time to learn these are signs to do something differently and stop believing our problems are "doing us in."

If someone is not fully grounded, then they are not able to live life as their soul fully intended. One may be stuck in victim consciousness, poverty consciousness, conditional love, consciousness, etc., and not able to free themselves to a more positively abundant life their soul is excited to experience here-not just monetarily speaking, but in all forms of positive abundance.

In addition, not being fully grounded distracts us from being entrusted stewards of Mother Earth.

In all cases, we are blocked from receiving the creative higher solutions being communicated to us by our higher parts of ourselves, our Guardian Angels, and the Angelic Host.

If not yourself, I'm sure you're aware that many are feeling unhappy in life, they don't like their life, and even more to the extreme is that many feel they don't want to be here on the planet. This is a huge reason why so many people are ungrounded, and it is also a vicious cycle that feeds itself. If you're not grounded, you cannot manifest the life you wish to live. If you're life isn't what you'd like it to be, you get depressed and withdraw from life and  from being your "full you", your authentic self. Then you are not grounded.

What are some less extreme ways of being ungrounded? When the mind is constantly wandering and scattered, if you are constantly focused on the past and future vs. being fully present, if you don't feel safe being here on Earth (for many reasons), or if you're in constant physical and emotional discomfort. For sensitive people and those who are empaths, being grounded is also quite difficult.

What does a grounded person "look" and feel like?

Someone who is grounded is someone who is centered, balanced, and fully present. They are able to stand strong regardless of situations that present themselves, as they use their keen awareness to observe and to focus on providing higher solutions. There is an underlying quality of peace and unconditional love present, and these are people who are comfortable being their authentic self. It's a lovely purposeful way of life here, as well as truly honoring their time here on Mother Earth. This comes about by understanding life's challenges are experiences that yield a particular wisdom your soul wishes to gain from the challenge, and there is a higher solution for everything.

Why is it important to be grounded?

It bears repeating: If we are not fully grounded, then we are not living as our soul fully intended, and we've also forgotten we've been entrusted with the stewardship of Mother Earth.

As spiritual beings we chose to come here in physical form for life experiences so that we can grow spiritually. Mother Earth provides the platform (stage) for our lives as if we're in a play, and in this play, we are the lead: we are the star of our own play. Everyone else plays a very important role in our learning, too.

Mother Earth needs us to anchor ourselves here, to be fully grounded, as we are then able to anchor a much more positive way of life here, which she and all her inhabitants then benefit.

So a great way to help shift your life out of stress and being exhausted is by making a positive change in how you feel about your life here. Understand what being fully grounded means, and why it's so important. Mother Earth needs us, and we need her.

What does this have to do with Earth Day?

Earth Day has gained amazing momentum since its birth on April 22, 1970. According to the EarthDay.org website, Earth Day is the birth of the modern environmental movement and the beginning of "raising public awareness and concern for living organisms, the environment, and links between pollution and public health." This day also gives a voice to emerging consciousness regarding putting environmental concerns on the front page.

The success of this movement indicates that many have heard Mother Earth's calls that she's ready for a deep cleanse, for love, and for respect, and as her inhabitants, we are also ready for the same.

So what to do?

In support of Mother Earth and yourself, take this weekend to:

  • Reflect on what is emerging in your life right now?
  • What are your concerns?
  • What are your own inner/outer environments like right now?
  • What would you like to plant, nurture, and see grow about you, your life?
  • What would you like to see on the front page of your own life?

To change the world, we must be willing to go deep and look to our inner world first. Awareness allows our consciousness to grow. It allows what is buried in the subconscious and unconscious to surface so we are not being held back by fears, worries, anxieties, depression, etc. These are all things that contribute to becoming ungrounded.

Now is the most exciting time for change for all who are ready. Solidly ground your life here the way you wish it to be.

Where to start?

For the above reasons, start with being more grounded with your INNER life first. Since action follows thought, and we manifest what we believe in our hearts, this makes perfect sense to start here. (To learn more about this, read my newsletter, "What's in store for us in 2016?")

Here are some examples of what not being grounded "looks like" with some suggested INNER activities to help you:

--Concentrate on being fully present in this moment right now without being distracted by the other thoughts that typically run through the mind all at the same time; watch for being in constant regret or in worry/anxiety mode. (Regret = you're living in the past too much, and worry/anxiety = you're living in the future too much).

You must be fully present to create a positively abundant and enjoyable life. Your life is right now! So focus on the task at hand or what you're doing right now. Pay attention full attention when you're in a conversation or even a meeting, and notice: are you really listening to what's being said, or are you thinking about what you have to say? Really, really listen.

--When you're listening, and overall in life, don't take things personally!  Remember at the beginning of this article, many people are struggling, and often times people project their inner turmoil. Take a few deep breaths, count to 10, and become an observer in the moment. You can choose not to take things personally. It takes practice!

--Get out of that busy head on a regular basis and reconnect with your physical life. If you're always in your head, thinking very deeply all of the time, you're not grounded. If you're at work or school, you can still stop what you're doing every few hours, be still, and do some deep breathing. Focus on something in your immediate environment that's peaceful--have plants and a fountain in your space with music that supports you, if you can. Physically get outdoors or walk around the space you're in. Stretch! Anything physical. Even if it's for a few minutes. (More "outer" suggestions are listed later in this article.) Whatever you chose to do, be sure you take the time that's long enough so you feel a shift from your head and into your whole body, feel being present. If you're being triggered by a fear or a panic, try this (a great tip for the workplace, too).

--If you're constantly multi-tasking, you're not grounded, and you're also leaking energy. If you're an Empath, that makes you even more susceptible to other energies in your environment, so you become ungrounded. Regroup and reorganize so you're able to give your proper full attention to the task at hand. You'll bring a much better quality to the task you're doing, and I'll bet you'll notice great ideas come through as a result of this newly-found focus. Maybe you've got too much on your plate, which is driving that multi-tasking behavior. Perhaps it's time to reassess your priorities and set some new boundaries. Learn when to say yes and when to say no. Learn HOW to do it with grace and ease!

--If you don't like yourself or your body, you're not grounded. This is a HUGE problem for humanity and extremely important. This should probably be number one at the top of this list!. To shift this, take loving actions towards yourself, such as self-care. Constant loving actions is what creates love, and this should be applied to yourself daily!! Take good care of your body by being kind to what you say to yourself about yourself. Start eating foods that make you feel good and strong that you also enjoy eating vs. eating to feed your emotions or your "pain body."  See your own inner and outer beauty regardless of your weight, age, or whatever your "negative voice" says. Maybe you really like your eyes, your hands, your biceps, or whatever, so focus on something that would be a good baby step that is something you appreciate about you--this is not meant to be from the lower ego but a true appreciation of a way that your body serves you well. The body is an amazing thing, communicating to us all of the time, we don't know how to listen because we've become so detached.

--How about your daily self-care and routine for preparing for the day? We've become so relaxed in our society as it relates to our self-care that often times we dress in sweats or something that's comfortable, and that's not always a nurturing thing if overdone.  energy booster. It goes back to being exhausted, too. Don't get me wrong. I love a day of being in cozy comfy clothes, but be aware that this may be dragging you down. You feel better about yourself when you take pride in your self-care, taking the time to look nice AND wear comfortable clothes--they don't need to be mutually exclusive. You are worth taking the time to fix your hair, shave, etc. I'm not talking about doing this because of what others may think about you. Your appearance is for YOU, something you do for yourself. This helps improve self-esteem, self-worth, and self-love. Remind yourself: You are worth your time. Be that person you wish to be from the inside out and respect your body. It's your temple that holds your spirit!

--Think about what makes your spirit soar, even if it's just a peaceful immediate environment, and practice this daily. Meditate a few minutes each day and "see" in your mind how you'd like things to go for the day. Feel this in your heart!  Then be fully grounded by taking the steps necessary to meet your day ahead, even if it's a day that may have challenges for you .

"OUTER" grounding activity suggestions are far more commonly discussed, and they include things like: Enjoying local Earth Day activities this weekend or related activities any time you read this. It's very physical connections to Mother Earth, such as gardening, going for a walk, and sitting outside. Go to a beach, lie on Mother Earth, and walk barefoot when you can. Dance! Take a class where you're moving your body and be joyful in what you chose--don't do anything because you feel you "have to." There's no joy in that and it's not a positive grounding experience for you.

Surround yourself with positive people who are grounded.

Using the "front page" awareness from the beginning of this article, set goals and make a plan, and work that plan on regular basis. Get out of your head and move!

Eat root vegetables. Take a cooking class. Create a vision board/collage of your dreams so you can ground your ideas, therefore, manifest them.

If you're constantly moving fast and rushing, you're not grounded. Make a conscious effort to slow down, be aware of each step you take when walking to your car or anywhere and be aware of your immediate environment. Actually, try looking around as if you're new to the area, and pat particular attention to what you enjoy and appreciate!

Pay attention to your posture as you're walking and perhaps take a class that strengthens your posture.

If you're constantly multi-tasking, this could be contributing to your rushed life-style. This also means you're not grounded AND you're also leaking energy! This is a big reason why many are drained, too.

And by the way, his whole grounding thing...I know first-hand what it's like to struggle with this, and I'm having great success and fun as this continues to improve in my own life.

We all have the opportunity to take the next step of the Law of Attraction which is the Law of Taking Rightful Action. Let's create a wonderful life as our soul wishes, right now.

Reflect on what you're grounding here, and what you'd like to change. Learn to do this for yourself so you can teach your children and others.

Honor your time here by being fully grounded: it is one of the most important basic things that we absolutely must do for ourselves, as well as Mother Earth. She is our home and there is no backup plan!

New
Online Appointment Scheduling System
I have a new online appointment scheduler for sessions! This automatically shows the dates/times I'm available in your time zone--I am still in the Los Angeles (Hollywood) area until the end of June, which is PDT. Then, I will be in North Carolina on EDT.

To schedule a session from anywhere in the world, please visit my website page for "Phone Sessions":  http://www.faithparent.net/Phonesessions.html.

Free 20-Minute Exploratory Session
One of the most frequent requests I receive is, "Can we meet somewhere and talk about life?"  "Can we meet for coffee?"   "Let's do lunch sometime."  I'd love to, however, I'm finding that my schedule, travel, and working hours change so often, it's not been possible for me to do this. So, I've come up with this idea of these brief sessions b ecause I really enjoy these informal discussions.

I'm very interested to know more about what's going on in your life.  Perhaps you'd like to talk about the above article and how this subject impacts your life?

So, please, consider scheduling a free 20-minute exploratory call using the scheduling link above.  I'd really like to know more about you, what's going on in your life, and your challenges so that I can better support you, too.

It's my goal to help you be happy in life, to be fully grounded as spiritual beings, and to enjoy the experience of life here on Mother Earth! Even with chaos around, you can still have your own slice of Heaven on Earth.

With a higher awareness of who we are and the purpose of our life challenges, we can find the higher solutions we're looking for, creating new pathways ahead!

Our past is not our future.

We are the ones bringing the change to our own lives first, and by doing this,
we bring change to our families, our relationships, our local communities, our workplaces, and beyond.

Mother Earth thanks you for anchoring the higher energies she's called for.

Please, I hope you take advantage of this. I've cleared up a huge chunk of my calendar over the next two weeks to do this!

If you're interested in booking a "regular" session, use the same link above.

I love what I do, and I look forward to hearing from you!
