Strikers United Partner with Boston Bolts!
The Boston Bolts and Strikers United are excited to announce a strategic partnership effective June 4, 2018! Strikers United and the Boston Bolts share the same desire to develop elite soccer players while keeping kids playing in their own community for as long as possible. This alliance will allow the sharing of expertise and best practices in the areas of curriculum and training, coaching education, and overall player development.  All of which are integral to players reaching their fullest potential.
Brian Ainscough, the Executive Director of the Bolts said, "Our relationship with Strikers United shows our commitment to having young players play in their own community. It makes for a better experience for everyone involved. Over many years, we have had numerous talented players from the Acton/Boxborough area playing for the Bolts all the way through the Academy. It made total sense to work alongside Mitch and the Strikers United leadership. Mitch has built an excellent premier program in the Acton/Boxborough area. Sharing ideas and best practices will only help both of our clubs grow in the future."
The complete player pathway, that only the Boston Bolts can provide, will give Strikers United players the best opportunity to achieve their greatest potential in this sport. The talented Strikers United teams will now compete in the New England Premiership (NEP).  The partnership with the Boston Bolts also provides Strikers United's most talented and passionate athletes the avenue to the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) and the US Soccer Development Academy (DA).
"I am very pleased and excited to be part of this new strategic partnership" says Mitch Doherty, the Director of Coaching for Strikers United (pictured above with Bolts Technical Director, Marco Koolman) "the leadership team of the Boston Bolts clearly demonstrated that they share the same values and philosophies as we do at Strikers United, when it comes to the development of soccer players. This partnership will instantly open up a wider range of opportunities for all our players and help to keep players within our community."
"The benefits and value added for all players in the Strikers United program are immense, we will now have a clearly defined soccer pathway to the highest levels of play, our players will now be part of one the top college recruiting programs in the country and we will have unlimited access to resources and additional programs. The partnership signals some very exciting times ahead for all stakeholders."

The Boston Bolts mission is to prepare athletes to reach their highest potential in youth soccer in preparation for collegiate, national team and professional play. This year alone, the Boston Bolts have over 30 college committed players (from DA, ECNL, and NEP), a US Men's National Team recruit, and another Boston Bolts alum went Pro! Additionally, the Boston Bolts put a great deal of effort into their off-field programs including college recruitment, community service, and personal growth opportunities.
The Boston Bolts Technical Director and DA Director, Marco Koolman, fully supports the mission, and the tremendous off-field programs of the Boston Bolts. "This partnership affords us the opportunity to share our core values and beliefs in developing the whole person on and off the field," said Marco, "we strive to create a learning environment where each player can enjoy the game they are so passionate about, together with their peers; allow them to share character traits that teach what it means to be a team player and that we all support each other. Our pathway supports technical/tactical skill development, but we also assist with the exposure to the college recruiting process and promote college-age high school players to colleges and universities regionally and nationally."
