When we created Samsara Wellness Center, we wanted to make it a place to deepen the understanding of your body with the vast array of healing preventive practices that you can do regularly to feel better! Practices like yoga, joint mobility, essential oils and massage
We wanted the Center to attract like-minded people who were curious about increasing mindfulness in their daily lives by offering mediation, sound healing & pranayama practices.
We wanted the Center to be a place to come and always get high quality, personalized attention and instruction from our regular staff. That is why we encourage our staff to keep learning!
We wanted the Center to host outside guests from various parts of the world with their different perspectives and unique teachings. Why leave Bakersfield when you can get high level, educational, inspirational workshops right to you?

Saturday, Nov. 10, 1-2:30PM, $25
Holly Compton is a Doctor of Physical Therapy specializing in Sports and Orthopedic Rehab. She is a fitness enthusiast and is certified in Barre and Pop Pilates and is currently completing her 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training.
At this workshop, you will learn:
  • Common problems that cause low back pain
  • The benefit of generalized exercise and yoga to relieve pain
  • How exercise and movement compare to surgery, injections, and medication
  • This workshop is for you if you:
  • Have low back pain
  • Wake up with stiffness in your back
  • Have tried injections, surgery, braces, or medication without relief
  • Have had pain in the past and would like to learn how to prevent future pain
  • Would just like to learn more about your spine and corrective exercises even though you do not currently have pain
Do I have to be a good yogi to benefit from this class?
NO! This class is perfect for anyone who would like to improve spinal health.

There are a variety of ways to access a meditative state, but those who have tried know the path can be elusive. Cultivating an atmosphere conducive to meditating can greatly improve the effectiveness of your practice. Certain smells, special lighting, specific imagery, sounds and especially how we position the body can all help bring us into a state of greater physical comfort. With fewer physical distractions, we can focus inward on the mind. Using techniques to quiet the mind, we can then begin to understand what it means to meditate. Join Stephen as he shares a variety of modalities and techniques useful for meditating. The true reward is within the practice, and this workshop is a great way to cultivate a practice that serves your unique path. 

Attending the entire Meditation Cultivation series is not required but encouraged. Space is limited.

 Women's Wellness with Yoni Crystals

The Yoni Crystal is for women only. It is used within the body to help:

• Heals physical and emotional trauma in the womb.

Vibrational Wellness ( Sound Bath)

Why does sound have such an effect on the soul?
Why do millions gather together from around the world to hear music? Why do we feel lighter after dancing until sunrise? A song can bring us to time travel in the mind, stir emotion, completely altering the state of being. Everything around us has an external frequency- sometimes ineffable and imperceptible, sometimes palpable and authenticating- oscillating across the spectrum of being from living to non-living and non-living to living. Sound effects can create an acceleration of an inward journey; Time suspended as we enter a world of sensation the brain rests into theta waves.
Theta is the brains deepest repair state. Physical injuries can be healed old emotional traumas released, insights can be accessed, leaving us vibrantly alive.  
Practice a Gentle Flow with Tiffany on Monday mornings at 8AM!
Gentle stretching, strengthening and balancing poses will leave you feeling fantastic! Mixed into every class we will include restorative poses. This is for all you who love both styles of yoga and wanted to see them mixed together!
We have so much to offer at the Center, but if you enjoy being out on the town we have plenty of options too.
