Machine Vision, Automation Prepare for Strong 2017

Each year, I get to break up the winter doldrums with a trip to A3's business conference in Orlando. Not only does the conference let us Northern folks thaw out a bit before the last big push into spring, but it also gives us a chance to catch up with our friends and partners in the automation industry and find out what experts like A3's Alex Shikany and economist Alan Beaulieu expect for the coming year.
Last year, Smart Vision Lights beat the market thanks to a steady flow of new lights, new features (e.g. MultiDrive™ and silicone optics), and strong investments in education and training (Summit). This year, SVL will continue to build on our successes while enhancing the value, engineering insight, and confidence we bring to our customers. For example, attendees of San Francisco's Photonics West and China's LASER World of PHOTONICS conferences will be among the first to see some of our latest products - including the new line of linear miniature lights (LM Series) that literally outshine any competing light of similar size (51 mm in length, including driver). Later this year, we'll be front and center at Automate booth #1047 and at several automation conferences across Europe. In the meantime, here's to 2017!

Don't Underestimate the Power of Small Packages
Smart Vision Lights continues to enhance our product line with the innovative MultiDrive™ and OverDrive™ Strobe features, applying them to the LM45 and LM75 Series, the latest in broad-spectrum mini linear lights. Unprecedented levels of light (with a singularly small footprint), multiple lensing options, overcurrent protection, and quick-disconnect cables are just a few of the many features. Read more.

IMV Europe Magazine Profiles Smart Vision Lights
Imaging & Machine Vision Europe magazine's Greg Blackman recently interviewed Smart Vision Lights management to hear what makes our company special. From the industry's only 100 percent internal driver LED light manufacturer to global expansion plans, Blackman's profile offers insight into the machine vision industry of tomorrow. Read more.
The EZ Mount LED Ring Light can be easily adapted to any vision system with four standard mounting options. There is no need for an external driver to control the light, which sports a built-in smart driver with NPN and PNP control. Click here to find out more.
