From the Desk of the Superintendent
Dear CUSD Team,

We are very excited about the progress to our Culinary Arts Renovation Project taking place at Calexico High School. The construction schedule is slated to be completed by January 2020. The installation of furniture, equipment, and technology is scheduled for February 2020 and for students to move into a completely modernized facility by March of 2020! Our culinary arts students have won state and national competitions and they will soon have access to a state-of-the-art culinary arts facility!! This renovation project is being funded through Measure "V" Bond Funds, IID Grant Funds and CTE Funding.

Thank you to all of our schools for participating in the Red Ribbon "Say No to Drugs" Campaign!
We want to thank all law enforcement agencies that participated throughout our schools in raising drug awareness to our students. Special Agent Jose Enriquez and Special Agent Jose Fonseca did an excellent job in honoring the life of DEA Agent Enrique "Kiki" Camarena at the Red Ribbon Assembly held at Enrique "Kiki" Camarena Jr. High School.
