CAMPBELL RIVER: Bob Bray is pleased to announce that this week's endorsement by paid-up members of the Social Mavrik Federation for leader of the Conservative Party of Canada goes to Leslyn Lewis and is happy to refer to her as Strong Party Lewis.
Week 7: Strong Party Lewis
Selected statements that Leslyn Lewis has written during her campaign:

March 19 - Our path to victory as a Party is building a united team that will win this next election and form a truly conservative government in Ottawa.

March 28 - I believe that our members and caucus have the ideas and perspective we need to win the next election.
April 11 - To this day, immigrants and refugees come to Canada because they have heard about our Canadian values and they want to raise their children in this kind of country. I am proud of my Canadian identity, and you should be too.

April 22 - I believe that as conservatives, we need to push back against political correctness. We must stand and fight for free speech.
May 2 - Faith is a gift and must be protected.

May 8 - They (pro-life Canadians) are definitely more vital to our political conversations than well-paid union activists.

May 19 - Our party represents the average person by standing for family values, small businesses, and opportunity for everyone.

May 22 - When we don't retreat into our corners of the tent, but instead reach out and remember our shared values, we make each other stronger and can have healthy and vigorous discussions about our different viewpoints.

May 27 - Canadians want strong action from their government, And they expect it now. ... The two Michaels need it.
June 16 - French Debate
Je suis la seule candidate qui peut unir le parti, unir le pays, et battre Justin Trudeau.
I am the only candidate who can unite the party, unite the country, and beat Justin Trudeau.

June 17 - English Debate
Canada can be restored as a beacon of hope and opportunity for all, around the world.

June 20 - I believe that we are the last big-tent Party in federal politics, but I know from my experience being involved in Conservative politics, that we can only win when we are a strong and united party.

Current mem bers of the Social Mavrik Federation give this week's endorsement to Strong Party Lewis for leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada.

Our endorsement is graphically displayed in the Facebook section below.
Membership in the Social Mavrik Federation
I invite you, , to register as a Social Mavrik member so you can vote for your favorite candidate. It's an early vote with published results. You don't need to wait for the preferential ballot to arrive in July. And you can change your endorsement vote as the leade rship campaign unfolds over the next five weeks.

First action: mail the Social Mavrik forms.
Second action: participate in endorsement votes for the candidate who you think will be best for the Party and the nation.

The "Mavrik" part of our name is defined on page 1 of the membership application form. The "Social" part of our name symbolizes our rejection of the turbulent modern liberal world view based on identity politics. "Social" emphasizes that the basic social unit is the family. It is further explained on page 2 of the membership application form.

FAQ #8: Is there enough time for me to join and add my endorsement vote?

Yes there is enough time.

You can put the application in the mail today and I will receive it by Friday. I will call you on the weekend for the name of your favorite candidate. Your endorsement might be shown in next week's email message, Facebook and Twitter posts. It will be shown if there are enough new members to trigger another round of endorsement votes.

Right now two new members are needed to launch the next round.
