STRONGSVILLE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
79th Annual
HOMECOMING
FESTIVAL
July 14-17, 2021
This year marks the 79th anniversary of the Strongsville Homecoming Festival sponsored by the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. This event is made possible by the dedication of countless volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules to work at Homecoming during the four day celebration. We are very pleased to announce the "Hometown Pride" fireworks show that will take place on Saturday night July 17, 2021. The viewing of the fireworks will be best seen right from the Commons.

The festival gets underway on Wednesday July 14th at 3 o'clock and continues on through Saturday night. This year will kick off a great celebration after we have been confined to our homes for well over a year. What a great opportunity to get back out and meet and greet all of your old friends and neighbors whom you might not have seen in a long time. This year will truly be a homecoming to remember as we all try to return to normal activities and enjoy quality time with friends and family.

A big thanks also goes out to all of the Homecoming Sponsors who support this annual event. Their generous participation allows for a true family celebration that is enjoyed by thousands of people and continues to grow year after year. Please take note of all the sponsors and make sure you support them whenever possible.

Once again, I look forward to seeing all of you on the Commons and the entire Homecoming Committee wishes to thank our hard working tent managers and all of their volunteers. Without the hard work of this group it would be impossible to hold such a huge event. Let's all get together to celebrate our "Hometown Pride" for four days and have a great time in our fine city.

Tom Burichin, Homecoming Chairman
A NOTE FROM
MAYOR PERCIAK

The Strongsville Chamber of Commerce will again serve as the host sponsor of the Homecoming activities. I congratulate the Chamber on their continued commitment to the community of Strongsville and especially thank the Homecoming Committee and the Board of Trustees for their dedication and hard work. The efforts put forth by the General Chairman, Tom Burichin, and Co-Chairman, Mike Kalinich are greatly appreciated. My thanks to all the generous sponsors and many volunteers who support this family event and make it possible for Strongsville to Step Up!

Best wishes,

Mayor Thomas P. Perciak

CHAMBER SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Due to Covid-19 related state mandates and restrictions, the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce was unable to host the annual Scholarship Holiday Dance in December 2020. The scholarship dance raises money annually to fund scholarships for graduating Strongsville area Seniors. As a result, the Chamber was regrettably unable to offer scholarships to Class of 2021 graduates.

To provide members of the Class of 2021 with an opportunity to receive a Chamber scholarship, the Chamber invites members of the Class of 2021 to submit an application next year along with members of the graduating Class of 2022. Please check the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce website in January 2022 for the updated Chamber scholarship application.
