STRONGSVILLE
CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
80th Annual
HOMECOMING
FESTIVAL
July 13-16, 2022
This year marks the 80th anniversary of the Strongsville Homecoming Festival sponsored by the Strongsville Chamber of Commerce. This event is made possible by the dedication of countless volunteers who take time out of their busy schedules to work at Homecoming during the four day celebration. We are very pleased to announce the "Hometown Pride" fireworks show that will take place on Saturday night July 16, 2022. The viewing of the fireworks will be best seen right from the Commons.

The festival gets underway on Wednesday July 13th at 3 o'clock and continues on through Saturday night. This year will kick off a great celebration that will be enjoyed by thousands of people.  What a great opportunity to get back out and meet and greet all of your old friends and neighbors whom you might not have seen in a long time. This year will truly be a homecoming to remember as we all try to return to normal activities and enjoy quality time with friends and family.

A big thanks also goes out to all of the Homecoming Sponsors who support this annual event. Their generous participation allows for a true family celebration that is enjoyed by thousands of people and continues to grow year after year. Please take note of all the sponsors and make sure you support them whenever possible.

Once again, I look forward to seeing all of you on the Commons and the entire Homecoming Committee wishes to thank our hard working tent managers and all of their volunteers. Without the hard work of this group it would be impossible to hold such a huge event. Let's all get together to celebrate our "Hometown Pride" for four days and have a great time in our fine city.

HOT CHICKEN TAKEOVER
Thank you to Hot Chicken Takeover for Sponsoring the April Business Luncheon held at Camp Cheerful.

Hot Chicken Takeover treated luncheon guests to a delicious picnic lunch of chicken tenders (warm spice or regular) served with bread pickles, and homemade ranch dressing, Ma's Slaw, Mac & Cheese, Baked Beans, and Banana Pudding.

Hot Chicken Takeover CEO & Founder Joe DeLoss was on hand and shared his story on how the restaurant came to be, and their continuing mission of hiring workers who have experienced barriers to employment.

Our featured speaker at the luncheon was Connie Boros, Vice President of Recreation at Camp Cheerful who shared an overview of the various year round programs designed to foster confidence and independence in children and adults with disabilities.

We offer our sincere thanks to Camp Cheerful for their warm hospitality in hosting this fantastic event.
