Business After Hours - "Oktoberfest"

On Wednesday, September 20th, Altenheim Senior Living hosted a festive "Oktoberfest" themed Business After Hours. Held on a gorgeous fall evening, guests indulged in an assortment of authentic German foods and savored ice cold beers catered by Brew Kettle. Guest also were treated to live German music and enjoyed a special Oktoberfest photo op. Thank you Altenheim for hosting this fun and fantastic event!

Business After Hours- Celebrating 70 Years"

On Wednesday, November 15th, Jardine Funeral Home hosted an Business After Hours to celebrate their 70th year serving Strongsville and the surrounding communities. At the event, Strongsville Mayor Tom Perciak congratulated and acknowledged George Jardine and Jardine Funeral Home with a Special Proclamation, and Strongsville Chamber of Commerce President Chuck Hollingsworth presented a special plaque to commemorate this milestone. Guests were treated to a delicious array of appetizers catered by Bucci's J Bella, and a fabulous pastry table. Congratulations to Jardine Funeral Home on this outstanding accomplishment, and thank you for your many years of service to our community.

Laura Wolfe-Housum has served as a Strongsville City Schools Board of Education member since January 2020, and has been an active volunteer in the Strongsville City Schools for many years. She is also currently on the board of the Strongsville Food Bank where she also volunteers. Laura is an active member of the Strongsville Athletic Booster Club, having served as membership coordinator. Finally, she is an active member of Strongsville United Methodist Church. Laura was previously Director of Supply Chain and Logistics for a commercial lubricant firm, and now focuses on her family and her many volunteer endeavors.
