Dear brothers and sisters in our Lord Jesus, part of the growing repentance remnant, cleansing as His Bride, getting ready for His soon return as our Bridegroom-----
God loves Israel! He CREATED it !!! Pray for His nation and His chosen people today!
" And He said, 'Let Me go, for the day breaks.' But he said, ' I will not let You go unless You bless me!' So He said to him, ' What is your name?' He said, 'Jacob.' And He said, 'Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.' Then Jacob asked, saying, 'Tell me Your name, I pray.' And He said, 'Why is it that you ask about My name?' And He blessed him there.' " (Genesis 32: 26-29).
Even today this wonderful aspect of struggling with God and with men prevails in Israelites who are struggling against the evil spirits of anti-semitism in the world, and the ignorance of the Word of God that places them forever in His Hand.
In the famous song of Mariam (Mary) she sings at one point: " He has helped His servant Israel, In remembrance of His mercy, As He spoke to our fathers, To Abraham and his seed forever." (Luke 1: 54-55).
Today as we remember the massacre of October 7, pray for the hostages to be released, for Israel to reclaim the Gaza Strip as His Land (Joel 3:2), for MANY jews to find Yeshua as their Messiah, for our Shepherd Yeshua/ Jesus to grow His Flock (John 10:16). Lastly, given the hideous way "christians" have treated jews and Israel throughout the ages, seek time with your indwelling Holy Spirit to have Him reveal any propensity handed down by your ancestors for apathy or even anti-semitism earlier planted towards Jews in your mind and heart. Struggle with God as did Jacob! As the Holy Spirit reveals any such false thinking, repent and replace that lie with His Word, fully now having a deep respect and eternal love for Israel !
