Is your Elementary School Student Struggling to Stay Engaged During Remote Learning?
As a former Kindergarten teacher, I can't imagine how difficult it would be to try to keep young students engaged remotely. Early education is all about hands-on, interactive, play-based learning. What can you do at home to support your child with the limited time you have left in your day? How can you make learning fun again?
This manual provides resources for parents to help their child learn to read and write, in a fun and hands-on way:
We have tutors available for students in grades PreK through 12, but we are finding that the greatest demand is for students in grades PreK through 3, as they are struggling with online schooling. Our experienced, professional tutors are available to provide academic support for small groups for the 2020-2021 School Year. Based on the grade level and group size, we can create a custom academic experience to support your school district's remote learning plan or provide an alternative to the in-classroom experience. For families looking for a full-time alternative, curriculum will be developed to follow the Massachusetts State Frameworks. Learning can be conducted online or in-person.
Your tutor will assess your child's needs and develop a personalized curriculum. Students learn specific strategies that will assist them not only with their academics, but to develop the confidence and organizational skills they need in order to succeed in school and beyond.
In addition, we support IEP and 504 accommodations, and Special Education Certified teachers are available to work with students with:
Executive Functioning Delays
Non-Verbal Learning Disorders
Autism Spectrum/Asperger Syndrome (ASD)
