The Haddam Historical Society will again host a tour of the historic Haddam Jail cellblock on Saturday. October 26 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Visitors will meet some the famous and not so well-known historic prisoners who were incarcerated in the Haddam Jail in the 19 th and 20 th century. Local actors will portray real characters who were jailed for various crimes including forgery, bigamy and poisoning.
This year we are partnering with the newly established local theater group, Blue Fire Stage Company. Learn more about Blue Fire Stage Company on their Facebook page.

Come and hear their stories, learn their fates.

Admission is $5 per person, children under 12 are free. For more information visit www.haddamhistory.org or call 860-345-2400.

This Saturday we will have our “I did time in Haddam Jail” reusable shopping bags for only $5.

NOTE: HHS still needs one more volunteer to help with leading groups through the jail. No experience required. Please call Lisa at 860-345-2400 to volunteer for Saturday.
