University Housing – COVID-19 Challenges Presented, Successes Achieved

Our ISU residence hall students, like everyone else, have been deeply affected by the COVID-19 crisis. Our priorities have not shifted, and our job remains the same: we are here to help our students succeed.  Although our delivery of that help has changed, it is our one constant. Read More
SWOT Student Affairs Participant Request

As part of the university's strategic planning process, we are completing Phase 3, which involves the identification of our university-level strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT). Career Center

We have not skipped much of a beat at the Career Center. We are still able to offer every service
and resource for our students. Many CPI students are doing their internships remotely and accomplishing great things. We miss seeing everyone in person, but we are still meeting by Zoom, phone, and through email.

Counseling and Testing Service

Counseling and Testing is most proud of how we've rapidly shifted to providing a wide array of options for supporting student mental health. We are providing telehealth to students seeking counseling as well as connection drop-in groups on Zoom and wellness tips online.
Dean of Students

Student Care and Assistance has seen a 200% increase in requests for the Student Emergency Fund. Benny’s Pantry has been a huge help, and Stephanie has been instrumental in advocating for students with other departments and connecting them to resources. KISU has continued to broadcast the news at a time when reliable news is paramount in keeping our community informed and safe.
Enrollment Management

Financial Aid & Scholarships, Admissions, Orientation, and the Registrars office have adjusted deadlines, programs, and services to meet the needs of our students. Financial Aid & Scholarships extended scholarship deadlines to June 1 and acceptance deadlines to July 1. We also recently posted a BOSS tutorial on the website to help students apply.
