Return to Campus Plan

While ACC is eager to reopen campuses, the college will take a measured approach to ensure the health and safety of our students, employees, and visitors. As ACC President Dr. Richard Rhodes shared, “The transition back will be gradual. It will be a team effort that requires our continued flexibility, ingenuity, and commitment to student success." You may continue to check for updates on our return to campus website
As an update, we will not be reopening the ACCelerator locations at this time. Only students who have an in-person class will be allowed on campus; all other courses and student services will remain online.

We understand you may be experiencing a technology need for a laptop or internet. These tools are fundamental to your success as an online student. If you are struggling to succeed with your current equipment, you may be eligible to borrow an iPad or to receive additional CARES technology funding if your course requires a laptop or other specialized equipment. Further, many of your software needs can be accessed through the ACCelerator Virtual Desktop

ACC will be closed in observance of
Independence Day
Friday, July 3rd and
Saturday, July 4th !

ACC Cares Act Student Aid
CARES Funding
"We know this is a difficult time for many students. It’s hard to stay on track and complete classes when you’re worried about things like paying for housing, groceries, and bills” says Dr. Rhodes. "Our goal is to help students stay in college and for those who have lost jobs, we can help them start.”

We encourage you to apply for CARES funding, financial assistance for emergencies due to COVID-19. You may also access community resources , SNAP ,   scholarships , financial aid , and the student emergency fund .
When applying for CARES Funding, there are a couple of things to consider:

Must be currently enrolled
To apply for CARES funding, you must be a currently enrolled ACC student. If you are co-enrolled in another college or university where you could also be receiving CARES Act funds, you are not eligible for ACC CARES funding.

First-come, first-served
Funding is distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis to all those who apply. The sooner you submit your FAFSA/TASFA and apply for CARES funding, the more likely you'll receive financial assistance.

Receiving funds
Once your application is approved, you will receive funds by electronic deposit or check. Be sure to set up your BankMobile preferences and make sure your mailing address is up to date.

When can I apply?
Funds are available during the 2020 spring, summer, and fall semesters. Applications open at the start of each semester.
