March 11, 2020
Dear Students and Families,

As part of our ongoing preparations around COVID-19, we created a document of Student Expectations that was shared with students yesterday. It provides guidelines for:
  • Student life at Bay as we all respond to the coronavirus situation
  • Maintaining continuity if a student should become sick and need to stay home
  • Bay's plan for running school remotely should we need to take that path

Teachers will review these expectations with students over the next few days. We thank you for your partnership in supporting the continuity of student learning in this unique time.

Morning Meeting Update

Acknowledging the need to reduce large group gatherings, we are suspending Morning Meeting starting Thursday, March 12. Today, 9th and 10th grades have a class meeting. On Thursday and Friday, we will have advisory in lieu of Morning Meeting.  We are thinking carefully about how we can maintain our sense of community even though we may not gather as a full community in Morning Meeting. We will keep you posted about the schedule for the week of March 16. Thank you for your support and understanding as we navigate these new waters.

Kind regards,
