Elementary Media Center Makeover Grant

$150,000

"SJPS students are already enjoying furniture that can be easily rearranged to suit all groups and tasks. The media center grant funded furnishings which directly support the 4Cs of 21st Century learning: Collaboration, Communication, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. Thank you, SJPS Foundation!"

This grant provides flexible and modular furniture to encourage active learning in spaces that are comfortable, engaging and motivating for all users. With furnishings that can be easily reconfigured, the potential of each school library can be maximized, while giving our students, staff, and community the ability to choose where and how they gather and learn.

Elementary Physical Education Grant

$20,910.53

"Last year I was the recipient of a New Teacher Welcome Grant funding Essential Equipment for Physical Education. In the video below, you'll see some of our new equipment. It's made a huge impact in skill development and class engagement. The students' smiles say it all!"

Student Foundation Kicks-Off School Year

The Student Foundation is comprised of SJHS students grades 9 – 12 who were nominated by a teacher or administrator. Their purpose is to support the SJPS Foundation and its activities and establish a relationship between the Foundation and the students of the SJPS.

for the use of your classroom for our meetings!

Modeled after the SJPS Foundation, students learn project management, meeting protocol, fundraising, marketing, and communication skills while accomplishing their goals.
