T-SHIRT SIZES

You will be receiving a new t-shirt for the 2021-22 year. If your t-shirt size is different than what you received in August, please let me know ASAP. I will placing this order in June and need all t-shirt sizes updated before that.

RETREAT

We will have a virtual retreat on August 6 and August 7 (you will only be doing one of those dates). This (hopefully) will be our final virtual program day. If you have a date conflict, please let me know immediately. You will be working with other members from the class of 2022, not your group, so it is relatively easy to move you around if you have a conflict.

GETTING READY FOR 2021 KICK-OFF - NAME TAGS

I am busy planning for our program year. I will be ordering name tags - if you have not already let me know if you have a preferred name, please do so no later than 4/30. The names that I will use can be found at this link NAME TAGS

This is a great opportunity to meet your group members and work together toward a fun escape and ultimately a great group project!

Secretary of State Ambassadors Receive City Proclamation and Trophy

Student Leadership Johns Creek won the Secretary of State Ambassadors State Championship. They were honored at the April 26th City Council meeting by receiving the trophy from Secretary of State Brad Raffenperger and a Proclamation from Mayor Mike Bodker. Definitely a special way to culminate this all-virtual statewide competition. This was the third win for the Student Leadership Johns Creek Secretary of State Ambassadors. The trophy will be housed at City Hall for the year until next year's winner is announced.

The nine Ambassadors are students at Northview, Chattahoochee, Centennial and Johns Creek high schools: Aditi Mohan, Akhila Yellapragada, Mehar Nemani, Ty Davalbhakta, Elizabeth Douglas, Ashutosh Chakragiri, Janice Nam, Charlotte Lichtenfeld and Omer Mujawar. Thank you to Tina Dong, their student adviser.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Student Leadership Johns Creek Secretary of State Ambassador team, please click the link to the application. All applications are read carefully - we can only choose 9 total students. Typically we give preference to the students who are entering their 2nd year, but we do choose 3-4 from the first year class. Remember, there is a time commitment that is expected to join this team.
