We are currently accepting applications for next year's Student Ambassadors. We choose a total of 9 Ambassadors and try to include at least one member from each of our four participating schools. You will need to possess the ability to work together as a group with extremely good communication skills. To be a member, you will need to commit time outside of SLJC to participate as an Ambassador. Class of 2022 - we may require a short interview during summer since we do not personally know you.

SLJC STUDENTS CONTINUE TO DO THEIR PART TO HELP OUR COMMUNITY
Rising junior, Medhini Anand, and rising senior, Dhruv Anand, from Chattahoochee High School and both members of the Student Leadership of Johns Creek, have spent their time raising money, feeding the hungry and focusing their efforts towards paying it forward.

In March, Dhruv participated with Stat Medical Care in Johns Creek to record a PSA about COVID-19. Both of them have since then focused their efforts on providing food and supplies to the hungry. They delivered food to North Fulton Community charities as part of a food drive and also are part of an ongoing initiative to prepare 60 nutritious meals every week to feed the hungry in downtown Atlanta.

The brother & sister duo used their time during quarantine to record a music video for the Music For Life program of Access Life America, and helped raise over $800 towards the cause of families coping with childhood cancer, who are especially hard hit by the restrictions imposed by the global lock down.

This summer, both of them plan to continue their efforts and volunteer at the Red Cross. We are proud of Dhruv & Medhini, and all the leadership they strive to exemplify!
