Schedule your visit to the

9/11 Tribute Center

Spots are filling up quickly! During a visit to the 9/11 Tribute Center, students are encouraged to think about the impact of the events of 9/11 on our world by being presented with the powerful stories of those who were there. Students explore the history of this world-changing event and are left with a focus on the generosity and empathy of the response to the attacks. After touring the galleries, students will speak with a Tribute Guide who will share their personal 9/11 experience and inspire an engaging dialogue.

Annual Teacher Awards

Each year the 9/11 Tribute Center awards outstanding teachers who have developed exemplary projects related to teaching 9/11 in their classrooms. Whether teachers develop a language arts project, a social studies project, a studio art project, or a service project, Tribute applauds teachers for bringing 9/11 education into their curriculum. Along with a recognition ceremony at the 9/11 Tribute Center, teachers will receive $500 for their classroom. Click here for more information.
