STUDENT SCHEDULES

The 2024-25 student schedules will be posted on PowerSchool Thursday, August 8, 2024 after 3pm. As a reminder, all families must be sure all required forms, physical and immunization records for incoming students are submitted on FinalForms and your student(s) billing account (including iPad and tuition) is current in order to access Mercy student email, course schedules and book purchasing.

  • Mercy utilizes FinalForms for required student record information signatures and athletic participation forms. New parents should have received an account confirmation email. From this email, please click the registration link and follow the steps to login and access your student(s). Returning parents, your account information is the same as last year. If you haven’t already done so, we kindly request you complete your FinalForms submission as soon as possible.
  • If you have questions regarding your daughter's Student Billing account, please login to your Blackbaud Tuition Management account or contact Laura Weller at lweller@mhsmi.org or 248-893-3546 in the Business Office on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between 9am and 2pm.
  • If you are unable to access PowerSchool using your username and password, try resetting your password using the "Having Trouble Signing In?" link. Once in PowerSchool, the "Grades & Attendance" icon will give the list of classes for the whole school year. The "Exp" column lists the hour the class meets. To see a matrix view for the first semester with room numbers click the "My Schedule" icon. Any periods not listed are unscheduled periods.

Schedules were reviewed by counselors to resolve any known issues. Please have your daughter email her counselor if there is a "true" issue with her schedule (such as an incorrect course, course not scheduled or full year courses not scheduled all year).

Please note: The master schedule was built (sections and staffing) based on student course selections made in the spring. Alternates, at times, were used to complete schedules when necessary. Students with unresolved conflicts in their schedules were emailed. Please have your daughter check for an email from Dr. Kline-Kator or Ms. McMaster regarding any schedule conflicts (current students) or from the Admissions Office (new students). Students should then contact their counselor to resolve any issues. The only other schedule changes counselors will process the first week of school are straight course drops and adds if space allows. Schedules will not be rearranged to accommodate a "change of mind."

BOOK PURCHASING

The BNC K-12 powered by MBS Virtual Bookstore will go live on Monday, August 12 and free shipping runs from Monday, August 12 - Monday, August 26. BNC K-12 powered by MBS has worked hard with our Mercy Staff to provide a comprehensive list of books needed for your daughter's courses.

Shop by Schedule enables students to enter their Mercy Student ID to access their entire schedule's course materials on the Virtual Bookstore. This allows your daughter to add all of her course materials to her shopping cart at one time, eliminating the need to select each course individually. Please note the shop by schedule feature is only available for students who have completed required school forms and current billing account as of Thursday, August 8.

Shop by Course is also available using your student schedule. Feel free to experience this easy and convenient ordering method by visiting our BNC K-12 powered by MBS Virtual Bookstore and try it out for yourself!

  • Click the "Let's Get Started" button on Mercy's Virtual Bookstore.
  • Under "Shop by Schedule", enter your student ID number.
  • Confirm that you are that Mercy Student - click "Continue."
  • You'll see your course materials and can select items to check out when ready!

Take advantage of digital formats and free shipping offers! Since every Mercy student will have an iPad to facilitate her learning, consider digital formats in lieu of a hardbound textbook. We really hope students take advantage of the many digital book options available; however, please read and follow the Teacher Course Messages listed and carefully check your order details before checkout

Please note that some Math and Science online course books will be acquired once school begins using an access code provided directly from teachers and will be billed to the student's tuition account. English teachers may provide a list of books that students will purchase and download throughout the school year.

Contact Colleen McMaster at cmcmaster@mhsmi.org if you have additional book ordering questions.
