Student Spotlight: Erny donates to LEAP as a way of giving back.

Supporter Spotlight: Erny Cerda

Erny started with LEAP as a middle schooler in the Expanding Horizons program, having newly arrived from the Dominican Republic. As he entered high school Erny continued with LEAP attending the Teen Center and then in 11th grade joined the College Success Program and completed two college courses through Salem High School's Early College Program , a partnership with Salem State University , LEAP and MassHire .

This past summer Erny got a summer job working in LEAP's middle school program and will continue as a group leader this year in the school year program. Ernie is considering a career as an electrician and was given a job shadowing opportunity with Jolt Electric .
