Apply to be a Green Grove Team Leader!
Green Grove Team Leaders play an invaluable role in educating the University of Mississippi community about the importance and ease of recycling in the Grove on football game days. This is an excellent leadership opportunity for students looking to do more for sustainability on campus, and for those interested in applying to our internship program in the future.

Interested candidates should apply prior to May 15th at 11:59 p.m.

Drew Lanham Visits UM Students; Leaves Impact
Drew Lanham served as this year's Earth Day Keynote Speaker. During his time in Oxford, he was able to interact with our students, who benefited considerably from his perspective.

Students Form New Conservation Group Associated with National Audubon Society
Working closely with Strawberry Plains Audubon Center, students have formed a new campus Audubon chapter, open to any and all with interest in conservation, wildlife, and supporting habitat. The group is currently recruiting new members.

UM Food Bank Summer Hours
The UM Food Bank, located in Kinard Hall, will be open Tuesdays during summer sessions from 2-4 p.m. The Food Bank is free and open to all students, faculty and staff. Customers to the Food Bank are anonymous.

Oxford Community Market - Every Tuesday, 3-6:30pm
The Oxford Community Market is back up in full swing! Offering fresh fruits, vegetables, baked goods, hummus, kombucha, popsicles and more from a variety of local farmers and vendors, the Oxford Community Market is a great way to support local while also having a good time. The market w ill feature live music and other activities throughout the season. To learn more about the market, click here.

RebelWell Step Up Fair - May 13th, 11:00-1:00 pm
UM Circle
RebelWell will be showcasing health and wellness resources for faculty and staff during Staff Appreciation Week. The UM Bike Shop and the Office of Sustainability will be offering an opportunity for staff to try the university's bike share bikes for free around the Circle and giving away free t-shirts.

World Migratory Bird Day - May 11th-18th, 9am-4pm
Celebrate Migratory Bird Day with a morning of songbird banding (offering a closeup view of birds banded for research), a presentation, and a short hike. Learn more here.

Second Saturday Guided Hikes - May 11, 8:15-10:45am
Enjoy a leisurely hike guided by a trained naturalist . Learn more and register here.

Native Plant Sale - May 17th-18th, 9am-4pm
Beautiful, ecologically beneficial native plant species will be for sale. These plants are first-come, first-serve and in high demand, so come early! Plant species list can be found on SPAC website. Learn more here.
