Founders Week 2023: Register for the Student Cookout on Oct. 18

Join the Student Counseling Center and NAMI@Baltimore for a series of events that raise mental health awareness and offer support for UMB students, faculty, and staff. Events include Sound Bath Meditation and #IWillListen Pledge Day.

UMB Campus Cleanup

Join us for a trash cleanup of campus to #KeepUMBBeautiful! Drop by our base camp at the beginning of your shift to check in and get supplies. Swing back by base camp at the end of your shift to drop off your full trash bags.

Urban Indigenous Health Disparities in Baltimore

In honor of Indigenous People's Day, learn about the health disparities impacting Indigenous communities in urban areas, including in Baltimore City.

Tutoring Opportunities

The UMB Academy of Lifelong Learning is seeking students to participate as Literacy Tutors (paid position) for students in grades K-6. A Bridge to Academic Excellence are looking for volunteers to tutor local middle school and high school students on Saturday mornings.

2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The application for FASFA is all new for the 2024-2025 academic year and includes the biggest changes to the form and process in decades. Set for a delayed launch in Dec. 2023. Look out for emails from aidtalk@umaryland.edu for additional information.

Due Oct. 10: President’s Entrepreneurial Fellowship Applications

The fellowship is an exclusive opportunity for students to obtain hands-on training and experience advancing real-world, early-stage business ventures based on discoveries made by UMB faculty.
