WMS Students in National Ad

Students in Kasey Brown's Animal Care and Welfare Class at Wood Middle School are featured in a national ad that promotes the importance of pets in children's lives. You can read about it here!
Dailey Becomes Associate Professor

Congratulations to Board Vice President Ardella Dailey, Ed.D., who was recently promoted to Associate Professor at Cal State East Bay. Dr. Dailey teaches in the Administrative Clear Credential Program at the college, as well as the Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership for Social Justice. She has worked as a teacher, principal, and administrator, and she served as AUSD's Superintendent from 2005 to 2009. She has been a member of AUSD's Board of Education since 2016.

AHS Sophomore Wins PSA Contest

An AHS student's concept for a PSA about safe driving won a national contest and has now been produced by an Emmy Award-winning production firm. The details are here.
