Dear Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation Friend,

If you are anything like us, this year has been one of constant upheaval and uncertainty. Every aspect of our lives – work, health, travel, even family – has been upended. We’ve all had to compromise, sacrifice and learn to deal with the unknown. That’s why we’re so grateful one thing has remained the same.  We’re grateful and so proud of our teachers and our students. Our teachers went above and beyond to assure that their students still had the opportunity to learn and practice critical skills and knowledge, preparing them for High-Skill/High-Wage jobs and careers. Great things are happening at Cascadia Technical Academy. Right Here! Right Now!

  • The Aviation program had 16 of their students pass the FAA Ground School/Knowledge Test and 2 of them completed their “Solo Flight” and another 9 received their “Pilot’s License.”

  • The Culinary Arts program received the education rating level of “Excellence” from the American Culinary Federation, the national culinary accreditation agency, because their students excelled in culinary employability skills. Only 7 schools in the Nation achieved the “Excellence” rating.

  • The Automotive program had over 20 students participating and learning through industry internships at Dick Hannah Dealerships.

Thankfully, our donors have assured that the Cascadia Tech Academy Foundation was able to purchase needed equipment and technology that the school’s budget just could not afford. This is Cascadia Tech Academy’s biggest challenge, but this challenge continues to exist, and we need your help to be sure all our students are successful this year and every year.

Have you ever considered expressing your support for the staff and students at Cascadia Technical Academy? If you have, we invite you to consider donating to our Year-End Campaign. Not only is your gift tax deductible, but you will play a key role in helping us ensure that every student at Cascadia Tech Academy has an opportunity to reach their goal of a family-wage career in a profession they love. Please use the link below to donate. Thank you, from our staff and students, for your thoughtful consideration!

With heartfelt appreciation and warm wishes for a joyous holiday season.

Once Student NOW Instructor:

I had the opportunity to attend the first year that the school opened. I always struggled in school, it wasn't that I didn't like school, I just didn't see the purpose.

That all changed when I went to the Clark County Skills Center ( now Cascadia Tech Academy) I finally found something that lit a spark in me. My instructor fanned that spark to a flame and profoundly changed my life. Now I get that same opportunity to fan that spark into a flame for others. Cascadia truly changed my life.
