Crossroads Student Ministries
Weekly Newsletter

I am elated that our Summer Countdown is in the single digits- just five short days of school between students, teachers, and faculty, and the break they deserve! We are looking forward to celebrating during our Summer Kick Off Breakfast, next Sunday June 9 during the 10:00 service. Intersect Middle and Intersect High will be combined in the basement for a delicious shared meal, time of reflection, and fun water balloon toss at the end!

We will also be recognizing everyone who has served with Student Ministries this year, be it with Intersect, Small Groups, Taco Tuesday, SERVE opportunities, Passages, Connection Events, or the Pittsburgh Project! There is an amazing team who help guide and encourage our young people. Parents and guardians, I'm sure there are times you ask your student, "what did you do in ______ today?" and they respond "eh, nothing..." Trust me, they certainly do do something, and it's only possible with our caring volunteer team, who are supporting Greater Things in their guidance and partnership with students. We will have a small gift of thanks for each of them.

Please help us offer this thanks by signing up to donate food items or serve on June 9 via this Sign Up Genius Link . If you can stay and serve as a table guide, I promise you will leave inspired by these students. As Dave has been reminding us, this is what it means to be part of the Body of Christ!

Hope to see you there!

This Sunday in Intersect...
Intersect Middle: Discipleship Room at 10:00am
Middle Schoolers will be taking the theme of this week's Greater Things message and applying it to their past year as 6th, 7th, or 8th graders. We will be focusing on the story of Joshua creating a memorial of 12 stones as his people entered the promise land, a visual reminder of how God provided in the past and will remain constant in the future!

Intersect High: Ryan Chapel at 10:00am
High Schoolers will be in the sanctuary this week to celebrate the graduates.

Games, laughter and breakfast snacks always included! Contact Erin if you are interested in serving with Intersect one Sunday a month
