Bridge Students

May 22nd,2023

Hey Parents,

I hope that your Monday has been super duper!

First, we had an eventful weekend to say the least! I am proud of all of my students who helped with Rise against Hunger this past Saturday! Thanks to the effort of our church, we were able to feed 20,000 people! That is awesome!!! After we concluded Rise Against Hunger, our students attended Guardians of The Galaxy Vol. 3! I had a blast and hope your student enjoyed the movie as much as I did.

Yesterday was a day for the record books! It was awesome being able to see my students and their families get up in an act of faith and commit to something larger than themselves. Well done! I would also like to shout out my students who spoke during the service. Great job to Grace Mitchell and Baker Baswell. They announced this yesterday to our congregation that our student ministry had committed $15,072.50, that blew me away!!!!! We are just getting started though, so continue to pray about how God wants to use you, your family, and your student(s) for His Beyond vision. We know not everyone was able to make it yesterday, if your student was not ready to make a commitment or missed yesterday DON'T PANIC!!!! Your student(s) can still fill out their commitment online, just click here. Thanks for all of your help.

Our weekend came to an end at The Village Center pool. There was plenty of pizza, pool noodles, water guns, and even pool Basketball! We were able to welcome all of our rising 6th graders into the ministry, and I pray that they already feel apart of our Bridge Student family. Check below for some upcoming announcements while I go and ice my neck and pride from being attacked by a crazed group of fifth graders!

Second, I would like to introduce our newest summer intern Chase Hoover!!!! Chase is a member at CARB and is home for the summer. He has a younger brother Jack who attends Bridge Students. Chase will be attending BigStuf with us June12-16th and will be a huge part of our summer ministry. If you see Chase around give him a huge welcome and a high five. P.S. Ask Chase about his favorite hat and his matching socks.

Lastly, keep an eye on the Church newsletter and Instagram for our Bridge Student June-July Calendar. Until that information is released go ahead and mark your calendar for the evening of May 31st! Bridge Students will be going to a trampoline park!!!! I will be giving you all more information on that event in the coming days. Until then.........
