Gibbs Music Studio will be taking the month of September off.
From the Director...
We are in need to take a pause at the studio due to a shift in my family's needs and direction. Having a small business is a lot of work, and doing it alone can be very stressful even on good days! I am taking this month's time to make a few changes that will benefit not only our students, but allow for a good work/life balance.
Here are a few objectives that I will be working on during this reprieve:
- The hiring of a guitar teacher.
- The hiring of a piano teacher.
- The offering of best scheduling with consistency for students and studio.
- The offering of group classes for guitar, ukulele, and wind instruments.
- The retention of existing students, and waitlist for new students.
- The creation of scheduled sessions according to seasons.
- The planning of the Christmas Recital.
- The rebranding and launching of Gibbs Music Studio as Mid-Michigan Music Studio, LLC.
If you have any questions, concerns, or loose ends from August that we need to complete please contact me via email and I will make sure you are taken care of. If you believe you can help with the success of any of these objectives, let me know! (Especially in the referral of new teachers.)
In a few weeks, I will be sending you a form about your intent to continue so I can compare the needs of our students to the objectives.
I appreciate your dedication and support at this time and always. Your students can still play and practice during this break, and truly evaluate what music development means to them. I hope that you are looking forward to seeing these objectives met, and that you even enjoy this break, too!
