Greetings!
This month we celebrate
120 years of Chiropractic care!
Happy 120th Birthday Chiropractic! Sept. 18, 1895
.
In honor of Chiropractic, the most rewarding profession for me and the most healing approach for our patients, we are focusing on the recent
BUZZ around Chiropractic and the results of important studies on Low Back Pain.
The World Health Organization (WHO) came out with a strong recommendation for first-step non-pharmaceutical interventions,
such as spinal manipulation,
to address lower back pain while avoiding opioids, pain pills, spinal injections and surgery.
This report confirms what our
doctors at InnerMovement continue to witness on a daily basis in our treatment rooms:
non-invasive treatments such as Spinal adjustments using either high or low force methods (depending on patient presentation)along with soft tissue therapy using modalities such as the
Theragun
are superior methods
resulting in decreased Low Back pain for nearly every patient we see.
The WHO and US government are moving the culture toward non-pharmaceutical, non-surgical first step care for lower back pain but
YOU our Chiropractic patients can help this movement by telling your friends and family about how Chiropractic has helped you and can help them too!
Statistics continue to help support the effectiveness of Chiropractic, as a study published in
The Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine
concluded that adults receiving Chiropractic care for low-back pain were 55% less likely to fill a prescription for pain pills in comparison to adults who did not receive Chiropractic care.
Let's keep our friends and family pain free AND drug free! Chiropractic care, exercise, healthy eating, good posture... are all solutions that not only work- they support an overall healthy lifestyle.
Have YOU gotten adjusted lately?
If not, what is the excuse? Time? Money? It costs less of BOTH if you maintain a healthy spine and lifestyle instead of waiting until you are broken.
The Dalai Lama, when asked what surprised him most about humanity, he said "
Man: He sacrifices his health in order to make money. Then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health."
Listen to these wise words and get back on track :)
Until your next visit,
