I'm kinda dreamin' about stuffing. I know I'm not supposed to eat people food, but STUFFING is one of my all time favorites.
Did you know that, if you stick a dog cookie in a little bit of stuffing and rub it around, the WHOLE dog cookie tastes just like stuffing!
Know what I'd like to do after dinner? Nap on your couch with my head on your lap. I wouldn't mind a bit if you scratched my ears while I'm napping.

Dogwood's Public Wellness Clinic will be open once again on the third Friday of every month, by appointment only, until further notice.
Veterinarian, Dr. Perry, will provide necessary services on a curbside only basis. Your pet will be picked up and returned to your car.

DOGWOOD THRIFT SHOP HAS THE EASIEST CASH REGISTER ON THE PLANET TO USE! WE ALSO HAVE THE BEST CUSTOMERS ON THE PLANET!
Right now we need volunteers to run the register and check customers out! IT'S THE FUN-EST JOB AT THE SHOP! There is no lifting involved and you can use a stool if you wish! A couple of hours a week on your own self-set schedule would help immeasurably!
Dogwood Animal Shelter relys heavily upon Dogwood Thrift Shop for funds to keep on going! Customers and staff alike wear masks for protection. Please, if you have a couple of free hours per week, we sure need your help! Stop in and see us or call 573-346-7932 and ask for the Thrift Shop Manager!

Good day folks! I’m Missy, a two year old Lab/Hound mix! My family couldn’t keep me but knew I would find a good home if they brought me to Dogwood!
I’m good with other dogs and, usually, cats! My favorite, though, is KIDS, ‘specially if we play together outside where I can run and play chase!
I get a little carsick on long rides but I’m a sweet girl and really want a forever home for the holidays! I’m always waiting for my name to be called for a “meet & greet” but, if you fill out an application and put “Missy” at the top, I won’t have to wait anymore! Happy Turkey Day/!

Dogwood has a few sweet, healthy cats that are great but have been found too late to be socialized. By the time they are eight weeks old, it is almost too late, as mom teaches them how to survive. If they have had no human contact, they try to survive on their own. They become "feral" cats and kittens. It is a very rough life for them.
They need a safe place to live. It benefits our furry friends and the person who has a barn also. The little ones get a home and the owner gets control of the rodent population.
There is no charge for these sweet cats. They will be spayed or neutered, have their first set of shots, and their ears will be clipped to indicate that they are feral and "fixed!"

DOGWOOD THRIFT SHOP WILL BE OPEN MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY AT 10 AM. We will be following the recommended Maximum Capacity guidelines.
WE ARE CURRENTLY ACCEPTING TWO WHITE KITCHEN TRASH BAGS SIZE OF CLOTHING AND THREE BOXES OF CLEAN, SALEABLE DONATIONS
*WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO LIMIT QUANTITIES BASED UPON SPACE AVAILABILITY IN OUR PRODUCTION ROOM.
*Furniture and other large items will be accepted based on condition of the items and our available space.
