Happy 4th of July!
15th Annual Golf Tournament went on despite the driving rain!
28 teams were registered and an army of volunteers showed up to support LRBRA's annual golf tournament and important fundraiser for the association. After about 10 holes played, the rain won out and the players were called in as the conditions had worsen. Players and volunteers were wet but cheery and enjoyed great food, raffle prizes and a silent auction with items valued at over $3,000! $1,200 in Cash prizes were awarded to the winning teams & contest holes ! THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS AND MANY VOLUNTEERS!

Tiny House Build Project Completed and FOR SALE!
The Tiny House Reveal showcased the finished product of a year long build with the students from the Huot Tech Center's Building Construction & Plumbing & Heating classes. Visitors were "Wowed" by the spectacular contemporary design, quality of materials, many of which were donated by local businesses, and finish work.The 192+SF which sits on a 24x8’ trailer is listed online and has generated a lot of interest from potential buyers. The proceeds from the sale help to continue the workforce initiative for the next school year.

Joseph Cerutti Scholarship Award recipient
• JOSEPH CERUTTI SCHOLARSHIP AWARDED - Travis Mallalieu, this year’s recipient of the Joseph Cerutti Scholarship Award plans on going into the Construction/Carpentry trades. “Watching a project grow from the beginning to the end is the best part about building,” said Mallalieu. Travis won $1,000 worth of quality tools to jump start his career. A perpetual plaque was made in memory of Mr. Cerutti's long affiliation with the building industry and his love for learning. The plaque will be showcased in the construction shop at the Huot Tech Center.
