Part 4: Completion & Thursday Virtual Class
If you've watched the videos above, taken your measurements & your photos, you're almost ready for class! Here's your final checklist:
QUESTIONNAIRE: Complete this Hue & Stripe Style Questionnaire (specific to style) where you will enter your contact information, measurements, and upload your 5 photos. After completion of the survey, you will have an option to add photos to an "online wardrobe". You'll add your 5 photos + clothing photos there. Please try to complete this by 3PM on Thursday if possible.
CLOTHES: Gather 2 groups of clothes from your closet to bring to Virtual class. The color of the item doesn't matter, we are focusing on the fit/style/pattern and how you've felt in that item. Accessories aren't necessary, but you're welcome to grab one for each category. Please also upload these to your "WARDROBE in Hue & Stripe through the link above. They can be photos of the garment itself or of you in the garment.
-
LOVE: 4 items you love and feel great in! These are the ones you wear because you know you look good! Look good, feel good! Your confidence shines!
-
NOPE: 4 items you know aren't right for you. You don't have to know why you don't like it, just that you don't feel right in when you have worn it before. These don't make you stand taller or more confidently.
WORDS: Prior to class, please have a short list ready of words for the following categories
-
One word for attractive
-
4-6 words that describe the way you want to be perceived.
WHAT YOU NEED FOR CLASS: We are going to have a great time! Come comfortable & excited to learn how all these pieces and more, fit together to direct you in your clothing personality and clothing selection! Here's what you need for class:
-
Pencil / pen (I'd take notes in your style book with a smudge-proof pen)
-
Clothing items listed above
-
Word list from above (you'll be sharing these words with us on Thursday)
-
Favorite drink and/or snack for during class
- A good set-up for your video / camera functionality. You won't be able to hold the phone, so make plans to be hands-free during the class.
