Spring's Fling.
Just a few weeks ago, winter's cold air faded away and our orchard erupted into full blossom. Acres of snow-white blooms blanketed rows and rows of pear trees. No winter-wonderland here; only Spring and very soon, Summer.
Our fast-evolving growing season is off to a wonderful start: each blossom is transforming into a young and beautiful Asian Pear.

Catch up with Subarashii Wednesday June 4th (6:30 PM to 9:00 PM) during Taste of HoHoKus in Northern New Jersey. This walking feast will be rich with samples of delicious cuisine prepared by resident restaurants. We'll be "pear-ing" our Asian Pear Wine with splendid mini-crabcakes in the grand foyer of the elegant Ho Ho Kus Inn.
On Saturday June 7th (11:00 AM to 5:00 PM), please join Subarashii during the Taste of Kutztown in Berks County, PA. Taking place on Main St in downtown Kutztown, ticket holders will enjoy samples of a vast array of PA wines and local foods, plus a chance to check out artisan-made crafts.
At our tent, we'll be sampling and selling our dried Asian Pears and pear spread. We'll also be sampling our Asian Pear Wine and Dessert Wine. Wine will be available for sale (festival special!) at nearby Wine & Spirits store (Constitution Ave) from June 7th through June 13th.
Grande Finale (for those who can't make it to the fest): Special wine tasting of both pear wines at the Kutztown Wine Spirits Store on 6/13 from 5 to 7 PM! Your exclusive chance to sample and purchase our wine just minutes from Subarashii's orchards.
