It's March! We don't know about you, but we are excited that warmer weather is almost here! Here's what Planters Bank has in store for March:
Lights, Camera, Save! Contest
We just wrapped up the entry period for our Lights, Camera, Save! contest! This contest was designed for teens in an effort to educate them and their friends on good money habits. Now that all entries are in, Meredith Forman from Greenville was selected as our first place winner! Her winning video will be submitted to the ABA for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship!
Parker England, President of our Greenville office,
presented Meredith Forman with a $500 check.

New Loan Representative in Leland
We’re so excited to announce our newest loan representative in Leland, Pratt Lucas! Lucas has been with Planters Bank since he joined the team as an intern in May of 2019. Since his internship concluded in August of 2019, Lucas has returned twice – once during the Christmas season in 2019, and again in April of 2020 during our first round of PPP loans. Because of his incredible work during that time, Planters Bank hired Lucas to the position of Loan Representative in May of 2020.

Lucas graduated from Washington School in 2016 and holds a B.B.A. from Mississippi State University. In his role prior to joining Planters Bank, he held the position of Research Assistant with the USDA from 2015-2018. Lucas is an active member of the Leland Rotary Club and is a
member of Leland Presbyterian Church.
