Dear Artisans,

This beautiful weekend inspired me to share our four favorite wines that show TONS of mouthwatering salinity.

If you didn't realize it by now—you will always crave salty character.

Salted caramel. Dark chocolate with sea salt. Salt on watermelon.

If I took away the salt from all the above, would you enjoy them as much?

Click on each graphic to read more and order.
The first wine is consistently one of the greatest white wine values in the world, and it can age. Cellar Tracker has reviews from last month and last year. It's so exotic right now:
The second wine isn't Champagne, technically, but it's better than most.

From Cult Loire icon Jacky Blot comes his insane ZERO dosage, made from 60 to 80+ year-old Chenin Blanc vines. Aged on the lees for 24 months, certified organic... wow:
The third wine is the thrilling 2019 Pietradolce Etna Bianco from Sicily.

Imagine a Premier Cru Chablis, grown at 2,625 feet above sea level, on the side of an active volcano—in the middle of the Mediterranean Sea. Yeah.
Finally, the fourth wine is a massive client favorite, and one of Spain's finest Albarino available. Don't think for a second that it's a thin, light, quaffable table white. You'll be amazed at the serious depth through the many layers of delight.

"Apple blossom, fresh apricot, persimmon, waxed lemon, sea salt... Tangy, textured and saline. Vibrant and long."
93 Points, James Suckling
All four wines are completely unique from one another, so I encourage you to enjoy them all and have your own delicious and dynamic journey all week long.
Thank you for reading and supporting Artisan. Enjoy your weekend!
All my best,
—James Tran
