in memory of Katherine and Huntington Parrish and Eleanor Parrish.

Sign Up to Donate Altar Flowers

Dates in November are available.

In December we will have greens at the altar for Advent.

If you would like to provide the altar flowers for a Sunday service, please contact Sue Samoviski at 513-478-8918 or suesamo63@gmail.com to reserve a date(s).

You may choose to call a florist to order the flowers, or you can purchase the flowers at the grocery store and make two arrangements for the altar. Or, you could provide flowers from your garden or potted plants.

Clear plastic vases are available at church if you need them or you can arrange them directly into the altar vases.

Another option is to send a monetary donation to Trinity in lieu of flowers and in memory of or in honor of your loved ones.

If you do that, please be sure to let Sue know the

dedication of your donation.

Watch Online the Investiture of Presiding Bishop-elect Sean Rowe on Saturday, November 2nd

The Episcopal Church will officially welcome the Rt. Rev. Sean Rowe as its 28th presiding bishop with a smaller, simpler investiture service aimed at reducing carbon footprint and increasing churchwide virtual participation.

The event will take place on Saturday, November 2nd, with a prelude featuring a "roll call" of dioceses starting at 9:30 AM. The service itself begins at 11:00 AM.

The service will be livestreamed on the Episcopal Church's website and on the Episcopal Church's Facebook page. A recording will be posted after the service.

Online Worship Schedule Change and Opportunity to Assist This Ministry

The schedule for A Word and a Prayer (9:30 AM) and Compline (8:30 PM) on Facebook Live has changed from being held every day to only being held on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

This is due to reduced availability of parishioners able to help with the online worship. If additional volunteers are available, we may be able to add additional days to the schedule in the future.

If you are interested in assisting with online worship, please contact the parish office at trinitychurchhamilton@gmail.com

or 513-896-6755. There is an option to pre-record sessions and upload them to Facebook Live.

There is no change to Sunday morning online worship at 9:30 AM, which will still be held every week.

The Death of Andrew Parrish, Grandson of Lee and Jackie Parrish

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Andrew Huntington Parrish, who died on October 7, 2024, at the age of 19. He was the beloved grandson of Lee and Jackie Parrish.

Click here to read Andrew's obituary online, which has also been reprinted below.

Please keep Andrew's family in your prayers, especially Lee and Jackie and Andrew's parents Krista and Bret Parrish and his older sister Paige.

Condolences can be sent to Lee and Jackie Parrish at 12 Independence Crescent, Hamilton, OH 45013.

Andrew Huntington Parrish was born on November 24, 2005 and passed into the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on October 7, 2024. Andrew is the beloved son of Krista and Bret Parrish. He is also survived by his older sister, best friend and confidant Paige Parrish, his grandparents Kathy Chester, Jackie and Lee Parrish, Carolyn and Earl Chester, his aunts/uncles Jill and Mike Mitchell, Kara Chester, Shannon Chester Marshburn, Erin and Michael Chester and his cousins Katherine, Matthew and Caroline Mitchell, Matthew Marshburn, lan and Alexis Chester.

Andrew enjoyed more love of life, family, friends, adventure and service to others in his short life than many who live a long life. Singing from an early age, he participated in many musical theatre productions, was a member of the Cincinnati Boychoir and attended many concerts throughout the country. His parents lovingly called him their "little song bird". He had so many interests. He loved to travel from an early age. In elementary school he spent several weeks in Australia with a Bethany School group. He loved going to amusement parks all over the country to ride roller coasters with friends and family. As a teen, he loved weightlifting, running, double-black diamond snow skiing, water skiing and surfing in Walloon Lake, Michigan, a place he especially loved, and mountain climbing, including summiting Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa and Mount Shasta in Northern California.

Andrew, a first year student in the McCombs Business School at the University of Texas, was intellectually curious and accomplished. Following in his grandfather Lee's footsteps, he pledged the Sigma Chi Fraternity and joined the Longhorn Racing Club. He was a National Merit Finalist and loved business, engineering, math and science. He valued the leading entrepreneurs for their foresight and willingness to venture into the unknown. Andrew had an extremely strong faith in God. This faith in God was a constant his entire life. He was involved with the Crossroads Student Ministry and made several service trips with Son Light Power to Puerto Rico and Honduras. He loved attending the outdoor adventure Christian camps of JH Ranch in California and the fun-filled Christian camps of Crossroads Church.

There will be a celebration of Andrew's life at the Crossroads Church, 990 Reading Road, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 19th. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crossroads Church, 990 Reading Road, Mason, OH 45040. Please add "in loving memory of Andrew Parrish" in the memo line so funds may be directed to the student ministry which impacted Andrew so deeply.

Into your hands, O merciful Saviour, we commend your servant Andrew. Acknowledge, we humbly beseech you, a sheep of your own fold, a lamb of your own flock, a sinner of your own redeeming. Receive him into the arms of your mercy, into the blessed rest of everlasting peace, and into the glorious company of the saints in light. May his soul and the souls of all the departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

Most merciful God, whose wisdom is beyond our understanding, deal graciously with Andrew's family, and especially his parents, Krista and Bret, sister, Paige, and grandparents, Lee and Jackie, in their grief. Surround them with your love, that they may not be overwhelmed by their loss, but have confidence in your goodness, and strength to meet the days to come; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Thank you for your faithfulness in compassion and prayer.

(Prayers from The Book of Common Prayer, 465 and 494.)

The Death of Dave Belew and Celebration of Life Plans

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Belew, a very long-time member of Trinity and our church choir, a talented pianist, and also a philanthropist and volunteer over the years for many things throughout the City of Hamilton. Dave died peacefully at the Hospice of Hamilton at the age of 93 on Saturday morning, October 5, 2024, with his family at his side.

A celebration of life for both Dave and his wife Marge, who died on December 30, 2023, will be held at Trinity on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM, followed by a reception at the Fitton Center.

Click here to read Dave's obituary.

Please keep Dave's daughter, Sally Streeter, and the rest of Dave's family in your prayers. Condolences can be sent to Sally and Charles Streeter at 22011 Nottingham Dr, Beverly Hills, MI 48025.

Into your hands, O merciful Saviour, we commend your servant David. Amen.

Small Building Repair and Improvement Requests

Formation of a Buildings and Grounds Committee

Terry Hurst, our Junior Warden, would like to know what requests you have for small building repairs you have noticed need to be completed, or other small building improvement you would like to suggest. Once a list has been compiled and prioritized, Terry will work with the Buildings and Grounds Committee and anyone who would like to volunteer to help, to have these small items addressed and repaired.

Please email your suggestions directly to Terry at twjhurst@gmail.com.

As a reminder, we are forming a Trinity Buildings and Grounds Committee, which Terry will lead. This committee will assist with the review and prioritization of buildings and grounds repairs and improvements, and items such as obtaining bids for work that needs to be done by outside contractors or companies.

If you are interested in serving on this committee, please contact Terry or our parish office at trinitychurchhamilton@gmail.com or 513-896-6755.
