JUNE WEBINARS

Reaching Students Where They Are: Social Media and Education

Monday, June 10, 2024 | 1:00-2:00 p.m. Central

As educators, we often find ourselves at odds with our students and their cell phones. However, our students treat their cell phones the same way we used to treat books and other fountains of knowledge. More than ever, students are using their phones to study and to communicate. Instead of banning the cell phone, we need to find ways to embrace it. This webinar provides a crash course on how to use social media such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube to provide instruction to your students. Learn easy video software editing tools and ways to become “selfie” and “influencer” ready, when the last thing you want to do is spend time on social media.
