Thank you to everyone who participated in the 2023 Associate and Provider Engagement Survey! We had 87% of our associates take the survey, a significant increase from the survey 2 years ago.
We will be holding a series of three Town Hall meetings with President & CEO Don Owrey, who will share the results of the survey, discuss the changes to Atlantic General Hospital's associate benefits plan structure, and answer any questions you may have. Please plan to attend on the date/time that works best for you.

2024 Open Enrollment
Educational Sessions

Open enrollment for 2024 benefits started November 13, 2023. All associates wishing to be covered under Atlantic General Hospital Corporation’s health insurance benefits must enroll, using the same Employee Navigator online enrollment portal as last year.
Enrollment materials will be provided by Human Resources during the educational sessions.
Sessions have been scheduled as follows:

AGH Shows Support in Local Christmas Parades – Calling all volunteers!
It is that time of year to celebrate Christmas with our community by showing support in the local parades! We would love for you and your family to be a part of the fun. Parade line-up is as follows:
Friday, December 1, beginning at 7:00pm (volunteers in line by 6:30pm) – Selbyville Christmas Parade
Saturday, December 2, beginning at 11:00am (volunteers in line by 10:15am) – Ocean City Christmas Parade
Thursday, December 7, beginning at 7:00pm (volunteers in line by 6:45pm) – Berlin Christmas Parade
We need volunteers to come help us with our theme this year of “It’s a Marshmallow World”. Please contact Erin Cowder at [email protected] to sign-up to volunteer. Family members/friends are welcome as well!

2024 Penguin Swim Volunteers
We are currently in need of volunteers for the 2024 Penguin Swim to be held New Year's Day on the beach in front of the Princess Royale on 91st Street, Ocean City. There are various volunteer roles available on 12/31/23 (day before event) and 1/1/24 (day of event). Volunteers will receive incentive points.

With our Thanksgiving Holiday just around the corner, your staff at AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy would like to remind you that we will be open for reduced hours in observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday as listed below.
Please be sure to check your family's supply of maintenance medications to ensure that you have an ample supply of all of your essential medications to carry you through the upcoming holiday. Also, please cascade to your teams accordingly to ensure that patients being discharged are not routed to pick up prescriptions outside of our operating hours on 11/23/23 and 11/24/23. AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy will resume normal hours of operation on Saturday, 11/25/23 - 9am to 5pm.
As a convenience, we have provided a list of local pharmacies and their business hours during the holiday should you, a family member, or a patient of ours need prescription services during a time that AGHRx RediScripts Pharmacy is closed.

Stay One Step Ahead of the Flu! | |

Seasonal influenza activity remains low nationally but continues to slightly increase in most parts of the country. (CDC)
Following the AGH/AGHS Mandatory Flu Vaccination policy ALL associates, medical staff, and volunteers are required to be immunized or have an exemption on file by 12/1/2023.
Those who have an approved medical/religious exemption are required to wear a surgical mask in all inpatient and outpatient areas during the designated flu season.

Employee Health will be administering QUADRIVALENT flu vaccines in preparation for the for the 2023-2024 flu season. Flu vaccines are preservative free and latex free.
