The Family Medicine Education Consortium (FMEC) invites family physicians, residents and medical students throughout the northeastern U.S. to submit presentations for its 2024 Annual Meeting. We welcome submissions from faculty/fellows/residents and full-time medical students that address any and all topics related to family medicine, primary care, and the teaching of family medicine.
Beginning in 2024, the schedule for the meeting will change in order to eliminate programming on Sunday. Preconferences will occur on Thursday, and the meeting itself will be held all day Friday and Saturday, with no programming or events on Sunday.
The meeting will be held Sept. 19 - 21, 2024 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel, a central location in downtown Philadelphia and near many exciting attractions.
Share your best practices and innovations with nearly 1,000 of your colleagues throughout the region. Formats range from 5 minutes to an hour. Submissions are vetted through a peer-review process. Acceptance decisions are based on the overall quality of the submission and appropriateness of the topic. We encourage first-time presenters to submit, and Planning Committee members are available to help craft and improve proposals so they can be accepted. For more information on the types of presentations, review the FMEC 2024 Annual Meeting Session Overview.
