For our second annual issue, the Tellus Zine Editorial Board invites Greater Cincinnati teens to use art to explore transformations within their community and their own process of becoming through the theme: Metamorphosis.

The word “metamorphosis” connotes both physical and metaphysical changes, human and otherwise. Because young people today have had to adopt a sudden maturity that influences the way they perceive the world, Tellus is inviting participants to creatively explore changes both inside themselves and their communities. This theme allows opportunities for visualization and open interpretation, as it is personal and unique to everyone who chooses to tackle it.
