Submitting Loans for NJHMFA Employees
Attention Lenders:
Participating Lenders must take the following step when submitting a loan for a
borrower who is a New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency employee:
A new "NJHMFA Employee Loan" checkbox has been added to the loan entry
screen in the Lender Portal. Click here to review the update in the portal.
This checkbox must be selected at the time the loan is reserved or submitted for
review. Selecting this box flags the file for internal handling and ensures NJHMFA can apply the appropriate confidentiality protocols for NJHMFA employee loans.
This process applies to any borrower employed as a temporary or permanent employee of the New Jersey Housing and Mortgage Finance Agency, not all NJ State employees.
