Introducing “Thread of Hope”- A PWRDF Advent resource
PWRDF is pleased to launch our 2021 Advent resource, Thread of Hope. This rich resource has been designed to accompany you on your Advent journey and ties together a diverse array of writers, viewpoints activities. It will include daily scripture readings, reflections, prayers or meditations and PWRDF stories of hope.

As in years’ past, the resource will be available to you as a daily message in your inbox, or as an entire downloadable PDF, ideal for group use.

Please join us for a preview of this resource and learn how you might use it in your personal and parish Advent journey. We will hear from two of the writers, the Rev. Martha Tatarnic and Charlotte Lilley, who will share a sampling of their contributions to the resource.

Martha Tatarnic
The Rev. Martha Tatarnic is the Rector
at St. George’s, a thriving downtown
Anglican church in St. Catharines, Ont.
Martha’s first book, The Living Diet: A
Christian Journey to Joyful Eating (2019) explores our relationship with food and our
body through a Christian perspective.
She writes a regular blog for the Anglican
Church of Canada that can be found at medium.com/@mtatarnic.
Charlotte Lilley
Charlotte has been a member of the PWRDF Youth Council for about four years representing the Ecclesiastical Province of Ontario and chairing the Resources Committee (where she assisted in the launch of the a just generation podcast). She was recently named the Youth Liaison to the Board. Charlotte lives in London, Ontario, the traditional territory of the Anishinaabek, Haudenosaunee, Lūnaapéewak, and Attawandaron peoples, where she is working towards a Bachelor of Arts at Western University.
