As HCPF continues to work with the RAEs to support expansion of provider networks we ask that all providers ensure that their Medicaid enrollments are up to date. Please verify that you are enrolled for each specialty type (specialty types are the term for each ASAM level of care) that you are licensed to provide. Also, please ensure that your FACILITY level (based on unique street address location) correctly reflects the number of SUD treatment beds you have at that location. If you find that any of this information is outdated please update by completing a maintenance request.
If you are new to providing services to Medicaid members please be sure to complete your initial enrollment.
HCPF will be posting a map of all providers on the SUD Webpage. This map will show the number of beds and ASAM levels of care the provider is enrolled for with Medicaid as well as displaying each provider location and indicate which RAEs the provider is working with.
Reminder:
Effective January 2022 standard pre-authorization timeframes for each residential ASAM level of care went into effect.
ASAM Level Initial Auth Timeframe
3.1, 3.3, 3.5: 14 days minimum
3.7: 7 days minimum
3.2WM: 5 days minimum before concurrent auth
3.7WM: 4 days minimum before concurrent auth

The SUD Provider Forum is hosted on Zoom and requires participants to register to attend. Meetings are quarterly on the first Wednesday of the month from 2 - 3 p.m. Meeting schedule and registration links for 2022 are below:
