Substance Use Treatment dollars available for Non-Medicaid members
Applicable to: Mercy Care Complete Care, Mercy Care RBHA, and Division of Developmental Disabilities
Individuals who are in need of substance use treatment may qualify for services under the Substance Use Block Grant (SABG) or the Governor’s Office Substance Use Disorder (GO SUDS) funding. These service dollars are specifically for individuals who are non-Medicaid members. Services covered include medically assisted treatment, counseling, HIV testing, and residential treatment, among others.
Further, the Arizona Department of Health Services is now hosting a free 24-hour/7 days a week hotline to assist providers treating patients with complex opioid use disorders. Medical experts will help providers with prescribing and treatment questions: 1-888-688-4222 or www.oarline.com.
