Success!!! 8/29/21
Romans 12:2 (KJV)
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
I could easily stop preaching now-the above Scripture says all I need to say today!!!
“BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD........
BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE NENEWING OF YOUR MIND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Perhaps, in a way, this is a follow-up to me previous post “I JUST FEEL LIKE SOMETHING GOOD IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN.”
CONFESSION-I think/believe WAY too many NEGATIVE thoughts!!
When ANYTHING occurs or even has the remote possibility of happening in MY life, my thoughts gravitate to the “WORST CASE SCENERIOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Just as Mr. Sanford OFTEN exclaimed in the TV series. All the while grasping his heart,
“THIS IS THE BIG ONE! I AM DYIN'!!!!”
EVERYDAY, (it seems like), I am facing “the BIG one!!!”
Now hopefully/PRAYERFULLY you are in no way, shape or form as pitiful me.
After suffering through ANOTHER long weeekend and evenings of “facing the giants” of VARIOUS forms, I awoke (PRAISE THE LORD FOR AWAKENING AGAIN!)
I did not and DO not desire to go through another “GROUND HOG DAY!”
I, personally, am worn out with FEAR............................
I awoke (see the above PTL) hoping/PRAYING for relief and I remembered:

I/WE need to “change our HITCHING POST!”
By that I mean the age old story of the town drunk who got marvelously saved but continued to hitch his horse in front of the same old saloon he frequented until one day he could not pass the old bar by.....
And you know the rest of the story.
Now from my son Joshua will be preaching. He called with this strong word of admonition and I will try to enunciate his preaching from here on:
He said, “Dad, the ONLY time the Word “SUCCESS” is recorded/the ONE AND ONLY TIME is found in:
Joshua 1:8 (KJV)
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good SUCCESS.
Look up the Word MEDITATE!!
MEDITATE-a primitive root [compare <H1901> (hagiyg)]; to murmur (in pleasure or anger); by implication to ponder :- imagine, meditate, mourn, mutter, roar, × sore, speak, study, talk, utter.

MEDITATE MEANS/EQUALS MUTTER/MURMUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In order to “RENEW” our minds and find “SUCCESS” one must spend our days and nights MEDITATING/MUTTERING/MURMURING on “THE BOOK OF THE LAW” found in Joshua 1:8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
“THEN THOU SHALT MAKE THY WAY PROSPEROUS,
AND THEN THOU SHALT HAVE GOOD SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
SOMEHOW? Brethren, WE must tune out the negative “news” that so easily besets us and tune in the “Book of the Law-GOD'S WORD AND WORDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
Psalm 1:1-2 (KJV)
1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
MEDITATE-There is that Word again:
“AND IN HIS LAW DOTH HE MEDITATE DAY AND NIGHT!”
PLEASE PRAY for me that I begin TODAY to “change my hitching post” and I will likewise PRAY for you to succeed also!!
May each of us find “SUCCESS” today!!
