Author Talk: Daniel Levitin - Successful Aging
Wednesday, January 8 @7pm
Stall the clock on aging in 2020 with Daniel Levitin's latest book Successful Aging: A Neuroscientist Explores the Power and Potential of Our Lives.  Author of the bestsellers, This Is Your Brain on Music and The Organized Mind, Daniel Levitin turns his keen insights to what happens in people's brains as they age, why people should think about health span, not life span, and, based on a rigorous analysis of neuroscientific evidence, what readers can do to make the most of their seventies, eighties, and nineties today no matter how old they are now. A Q&A will follow the talk. Book signing and purchase courtesy of Elm Street Books. Media sponsor is GOOD Morning Wilton. More info & register

The holiday season is the perfect time to give the gift of life. Donate blood at the American Red Cross Blood Drive. For this drive, donors will receive a free long-sleeve t-shirt. To sign up, please call 1-800-RED-CROSS (1.800.733.2767) or go to Walk-ins welcome.
Please support the Annual Friends Campaign
It is commonly believed that Wilton Library is a municipal library, supported entirely by local tax dollars -- this is not the case. Wilton Library is a public/private partnership. We need to raise approximately 25% of our budget through private donations that fill the shelves and provide programs and services. Your gift to the Annual Friends Campaign enables us to do just that and ensures that Wilton Library remains the center for enrichment in our community. Again, private donations alone fund our collection materials, programs, and services. We count on the generosity of the community to keep the level of programming, services and collection content high. Please make your tax-deductible donation here today. Thank you for your support!
