STAR VOLUNTEER

Betty Jean Schaadt has been volunteering with Special Kids Special Families since July of this year.  She volunteers at Zach's Place four days a week.  The kids love her to read to them, sing songs, play games, do craft projects or sometimes just comfort them during quiet times.  She is also great with helping the staff with cleaning or whatever they need her to do.  Jean is very reliable and dedicated.  Her volunteer hours at Zach's Place for the month of November is 60.25 and YTD is 275.  She also volunteers at Joey's Place one day a week.  Her grand total for the YTD with both centers combined is 357 donated hours!!

Betty Jean is our "star volunteer" for the month.  Thank you for all your dedication!

During this holiday season, your donation in any amount, is important to continue the valuable work
that Special Kids Special Families provides the Colorado Springs community.

Respite care is the common theme among all three of our major programs.
Did you know that respite care is the most frequently requested service by families caring for
a loved one with a disability, but is one of the least funded services?

By donating to SKSF, we can continue to provide families with valuable respite care.

YOU ARE TRULY MAKING A DIFFERENCE
IN THE LIVES OF FAMILIES!
