HUNGRY & THIRSTY

We witnessed people, young and old with a deep hunger and thirst for God. And God did not disappoint - but manifested His presence among us all. His love was tangible, like anointing oil poured over our heads.

Two-hundred people from four different denominational churches gathered for an open air meeting. Our rented bus brought brothers and sisters who had no other transportation, plus added equipment needed for the meeting. Though the electricity had been off most of the day, it was restored at the very time we were ready to start! Pastor Jerry Cummings, (Kansas) shared the Word and gave a prophetic word; almost immediately a Spirit of Joy was released. One of the senior sisters sitting in the front began to dance in the Spirit and was joined by many others! God's mighty presence strengthened and ministered to His people who live in a very difficult environment! Thank you Lord!

RECEIVE THE HOLY SPIRIT

Las Tunas: Star of Bethlehem church was filled with over 250 children from the community invited to this special service. When we gave the invitation to receive Jesus, many hands went up! Hallelujah!

Holguin: The children's team and teachers from Good Samaritan presented the story of Daniel & the Lion's Den through songs & an amazing skit! The Lord led us to introduce the Holy Spirit and many children who had already received the Lord came forth to receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit! We believe the Lord is empowering these children to be His witnesses, not just in their community, their city, and their nation, but to the ends of the earth!

BE THE LIGHT

Last November, hurricanes hit Cuba. Many homes without shutter windows and doors to protect were damaged. Pastor Alex, seeing the suffering of his communities, asked us to help with a solution. New shutter windows, doors, and other repairs were purchased. Pastor Alex not only installed these windows in his own house church, but committed to help 20 other families install theirs! He is truly a shepherd with the Father's heart, humbly serving his sheep with love and action.

New Opportunity: Pastor Alex's church has grown! Right next to him is an unfinished home that could be repurposed for additional church space. We believe God would have us help this faithful servant with this new endeavour. Partner with us for church expansion in Cuba!

UPCOMING CUBA TRIP

We are going back to Cuba from 30JUN to 11JULY. Apart from ministering in Holguin, we will also have the opportunity to travel 6 hours by road to Maisi & Baracoa of South Eastern Cuba. These areas were severely hit by hurricanes last November too, with many homes fully wiped out. Pastor George of Evangelical Pentecostal Church who oversees many churches in Holguin, mobilized teams to deliver relief resources to these remote communities Because road conditions did not permit vehicles to pass, these teams carried (on foot) many kilos of rice and bundles of clothing. We will return to these same areas.

Pastors and leaders from 16 churches of Maisi & Baracoa will gather together to be encouraged and strengthened by by God's Word. Pray for us to deliver the right Word in this season and for the Holy Spirit to minister mightily to each one. We also want to bring over the counter medicines which are not available in Cuba and purchase much needed supplies locally to help these churches. Your prayer, support, and help would be greatly appreciated!

It was such joy to travel with Larry & Jean last month to Duluth WI to attend the International Association of Ministries IAM conference, meet Pastor Jerry Cummings again, and other precious saints!
