PRC is looking for a PT Bookkeeper 10 hour per week.

Knowledge of QuickBooks Online and desktop versions and Church bookkeeping is a big plus. Located in our West Islip location, the hours are flexible Monday - Thursday. Some driving will be necessary, mileage reimbursed.

LONG ISLAND JOBS WITH JUSTICE

Our friends at the Long Island Farmworkers Cooperative are asking for help finding locations to sell their flowers and other plants over the next couple of months. The LIFWC is an inspiring group of immigrant farmworkers who formed the cooperative in 2021. The cooperative is worker owned and controlled, and an effort to liberate themselves from the highly exploitative agriculture industry on Long Island. You can read more about them here. I've also attached some photos of the workers and their work.

They have lot of plants to sell, but currently are limited where they can sell them. Would anyone here be able to offer their house of worship to the workers to set up? If you're interested in offering or need some details on what it involves please contact Diane at [email protected].
