We will have lightly worn or new coats with thepossibility of mittens and hats. The giveaway date is October 6th at Sullivan Church of God from 4 pm to 7 pm. We are also still collecting coats, mittens, and hats. If you would like to make a donation to the Winter Coat Drive please bring your new or gently used items to Sullivan Church of God @ 321 N. You are cordially invited to our monthly SCORE Workshop Tuesday,
October 10, 2017, at the Decatur Club - Mezzanine Room. Breakfast will begin at 8:00 a.m.
Our guest speaker is Mindy Ruckman, Government Affairs Legislative Analyst with Illinois Policy. She has been with the Institute for two years, previously serving as part of the policy team before joining Government Affairs. Before joining the Institute, Mindy was a research assistant with the Illinois Legislative Research Unit where she conducted research for the General Assembly on a broad range of issues. She has also served in her local state representative's district office.
Mindy is a graduate from the University of Illinois Springfield with a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations.
Please feel free to join us for breakfast and to hear the speaker. Please know you are free to leave after our speaker, and we will conduct our monthly SCORE meeting. Of course you are more than welcome to stay and attend our monthly meeting if you so desire.
